QuadSucker/Web Supports Windows Vista :

QuadSucker/Web has been tested under Windows Vista and found to operate correctly. This page contains information about differences that you might experience when running QuadWeb under Vista as opposed to Windows XP.

  • Location of Downloaded Files. Under XP, downloaded files were normally placed into the directory c:\program files\quadweb\download. Due to file system virtualization, Windows Vista changes the location of this folder. In Vista, downloaded files will usually be placed in c:\users\<username>\appdata\local\virtualstore\program files\quadweb\download, where <username> is the name of the user who is currently logged in. QuadWeb should be able to locate files correctly when using the View:Received Files command, so that is an easy way to locate to this somewhat difficult to find folder.
